On Thursday, 8-4-11 at about 5:50 am, an accident occurred on McCulloch Blvd at Sweetgrass Drive. The accident involved a Reddish colored SUV type vehicle which was pulling a black passenger car using a tow chain, and a Pedal cyclist.
The pedal cyclist reported striking the left front side of the black passenger car which was in tow, and traveling across the hood and onto the ground.
The driver of the SUV stopped briefly and spoke to the cyclist but left without providing their information or rendering any aide. The driver of the SUV was described as a white male in his early 20's, about 6 feet tall, with an average build.
There was also a young male in the drivers seat of the black passenger car that was being towed.
A passing motorist in a white truck came upon the scene and was asked to follow the suspect vehicles by the cyclist. The motorist was reported to have followed the two vehicles, but this unidentified person never returned to the crash scene nor did they contact the police.
