Greetings Tim!
If you have not visited our OPG Foothills Farmstand lately, you'll be in for a big surprise! We've outgrown our building for the second time so look out for a new third building, it's almost done! In it we'll put the display coolers, leaving lots of room in the other air conditioned building for more goodies on display shelves/baskets and even a whole bin of melons. You never know what's going to happen next up here, we are so blessed!
Also coming up is another season of our healthy cooking show, "Kitchen Nutrition." I'll be partnering with Jim Matthews of Havasu Video News on this project so we can watch new episodes online, any time, from any place that has internet access, isn't that so cool? If you own a business and would like to place a commercial on the show, we'll help you advertise in return for helping us to share healthy cooking and nutrition!

| PRODUCE IN THE NEWS...
The weather played tricks on our farmers last week, resulting in some damage, hence limited availability and spiking prices on certain green leafy type vegetables. But fear not, summer fruits are rolling in full swing. Now is the time to stock up your berry supply! It comes in handy to freeze them for smoothies, providing full flavor and lots of nutrition, as less ice is needed. Let us know ahead of time and we can order a whole case for you at a special discount. To compliment all those berries we'll have a trio of melons... cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelons this week, and some delicious sweet grapes in red flame and green varieties.
Back up to the plate for the season is the pluot, a cross between the plum and apricot.
Also featured this week is a variety of fresh herbs, basil, chives, and oregano, along with some fresh cilantro and parsley. Ummm spicy!
Also back after a short time out is my personal favorite, broccoli slaw, all the chopping is done. It was a slow mover for a while so it had to take a week off. Come and get it!
I saved the best for last... SWEET MINI MIXED PEPPERS ARE BACK!

Pre-ordering is available for a nominal service fee of just $2.00. Here's how to do it:

1. The .xls version of the list will appear after a minute or so
2. Select desired items in the quantity column.
3. Add your name and phone number to the bottom of the list.
4. Save and name this form as a document.
6. ATTACH YOUR ORDER & SEND. I'll reply with an "I got it!" email.
You may alo reply to this email with a list of your selections in your own format and we can transfer it to our order sheet.
Any way you do it, we'll have your order packed and ready for convenient pickup any time after 10am Friday morning. Please send your order by 7am Friday and pick up no later than NOON on Saturday. Just call if you will be late or we'll restock the produce so it can find a good home!
